Six Sigma Military Scholarship

Military and Veteran Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification Scholarships are now available. The scholarships are provided by the Six Sigma Management Institute (Scottsdale, Arizona) in conjunction with Dr. Mikel J. Harry, co-creator of Six Sigma, national bestselling author on the subject and working philanthropist.

The official scholarship program name is Six Sigma Wings for Heroes. This program has been specifically designed and funded to provide qualified active and reservist duty US military personnel, transitioning soldiers and veterans, as well as their immediate family members with the opportunity to greatly improve the odds of gaining meaningful employment and significantly increasing income, as well as extending vertical and horizontal job mobility.

As of JAN 29, 2013 Indeed.com reported the average base salary for Lean Six Sigma jobs was $98,000, not including bonuses and benefits. On the same date, there were 17,854 postings for Six Sigma jobs.
